* High-quality materials combine to provide a comfortable cabin; increased ground clearance aids travel on gravel and snowy roads; drives like a regular sedan. Source: Edmunds

I changed the oil on time. I did all of the scheduled maintenance. I'm not a hard driver. At 83K miles, my Allroad started "consuming oil". My mechanic and dealer independently confirmed the oil separator was not the issue ($250 fix). Both agreed that the engine would need to be torn down and troubleshot. The dealer estimated the exploration at $2-3K. The mechanic said he wished "Audi would fix this issue." He said it's far too common. At worst, it would mean a new motor, estimated at $11k by the dealer for a car worth $12k in trade. If something was broken, the extended warranty would cover. If something was "just worn" it would not. Aside from that (lol) - the car handles beautifully. It's comfortable and quiet. The MMI system is terrible, sometimes picking up my phone immediately, sometimes taking a few minutes. Sometimes I'd turn the car off to pump gas, and when restarting, it would reboot. The dealer said this was normal. I rented a 2017 A6 and found it to have the same issue. The loaner I got from the dealer confirmed it to be inherent to MMI. Overall, you'll get much, much more for your money from another brand - more tech and better reliability. I will never own another Audi, unfortunately. Few cars match their styling and the 2.0L Turbo is awesome. Not will I recommend it to a friend or family member. Sorry, not sorry, Audi. Goodbye.

Handsome car, comfortable seats highway cruiser, Great mileage. Hard to get in and out of without hitting head or shoulder on doorframe. Always get back of legs dirty getting out of car - body trim on door sill sticks out too much. Weird gear shifter but easy enough to figure out. Cup holders in the worst possible spot - under buttons - always scrape fingers getting cup out of holder. Radio volume button at first seems to be in a great position on the console but it is too easy to hit with pocketbook and other things - ultimately a poor place for the control. Radio - change the station and the display changes and then goes back to display the previous station for about 10-15 seconds, why would it do that?? MMI (information) control buttons and knob are between the gear shifter and the cupholders - one spill and the MMI controller is gone and not covered by warranty (even the dealer warned us to be careful). A strange click-click sound from under the car every time the car accelerated the first time after being turned on - dealer said it was the anti-lock brakes. 20 years of driving with anti-lock brakes never got that sound, maybe it was the new quattro system. Ultimately, not the design we were looking for and sold it.

A very well designed, comfortable vehicle, with sleek body, that is both comfortable and yet having a very business demeanor. Driven conservatively it's silky smooth through the gears. Attack the corners and the quick steering will rival an 3M. (I've owned two) It has every conceivable feature that can be found in a top flight luxury car including MMI, Bang & Olufsen w/26GB Hard Drive, Memory Settings, Panoramic Glass Roof, Power Rear Deck Lid, Keyless Ignition, Eight Speed Automatic Transmission, Back up Camera w/Sensors, GPS, Paddle Shifters, 8 way Power/Adj. Bolster/Adjustable Thigh Support Sport Seats. In short, one amazing sport wagon. You'll never regret owning one....
